The Global Dialogue Process

Design & Scope

Our process had four distinct sections, walking participants through questions that were scenario-based, outcome-based, value-based, and cultural.

Our scenarios in particular are designed to make abstract AI concepts tangible for participants. Questions were translated into ten languages and checked for cross-cultural validity.

Global Outreach

In partnership with Prolific, our process reaches 1000+ people from more than sixty countries, and is representative across a range of demographic measures—we are continuing to work on improving sampling across age and region.

We used Remesh's interactive dialogue platform to enable cross-cultural conversation within the dialogue. This allows participants to read and vote on each others' statements, creating a more collective process.
